Here's a homage to Léo Beker, author of the Tribulations of Louison Cresson, the first album of which features quibbling and dancing monks, mostly motivated by their taste for wine. Here's my take on one of those guys:

It had been a while since I had it in mind to fold some hanging clothes, it was much harder than anticipated, the paper had to suffer much abuse - yay for lokta power ! I'd like to fold a Roman some day, like a senator, but I have yet to find out how that could work.

I'm still pleased with the movement which results from the torsion of the cloth though, as it is something that interests me more and more (some of you may have noticed that my Guru is not just standing there).

I hope you like it some.

  9. :) 'cause I work hard on it.

TBH, the better I get at folding, the harder it seems to become - luckily I have more time on my hands for a few weeks ;)

  13. wonderful character - will this design feature in a how to? or does it already feature in a form I can purchase? I would love to try and fold him

  14. Thank you Wonko :)

It's quite unlikely that I produce a diagram for this fellow, I'm afraid, at least in this form. I am terrible at diagrams in general and there are a few things which would make it unusually more conplex to draw. However, it is one of my favourite folds, so if can muster up sufficient courage, I may one day work on making it better and document that somewhat. I don't even have a real CP, as improvisation plays a good part in many of my folds.
